In the west, the cities are very busy. There are many people and many jobs. It is easy to find work there. But the east is different. The buildings are sometimes old, and there are not many new businesses. The government wants to help the east. They want to make the east strong too. They want people to stay in their home towns.
Germany is one country, but it has two stories. One part is rich and busy. The other part is quiet and needs help. It is hard to make every part the same. This takes a long time. Today, Germany is still working to be one happy family. The people want a good future for every city and every town.
