The oceans are now very hot. The water temperature is very high. 1°C last Saturday.

This is a new record. The water is hotter than before. Scientists study the planet.

They say the Earth is getting warmer. People use too much oil and gas. This makes the air hot.

There is also a weather event. It is called El Niño. It brings warm water to the Pacific Ocean.

This makes the heat go up. Hot oceans bring big problems. They make storms dangerous.

They hurt the fish. They hurt the plants in the sea. Warm water takes more space.

So, the sea level goes up. El Niño will grow until December. Scientists think the water will be hotter soon.

They are worried. We must look after our world.
